"Now this understanding radically affects what we are donig when we seek to fulfill the Great Commission. Are we trying to do something, or are we telling the world about what has already been done? Are we fighting the principal battle itself, or are we announcing the victory afterwards? This is not a campaign where we are trying to get Jesus elected to anything. He is seated already at the right hand of God the Father, and He is already king of Idaho, Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts. We have the task of announcing to the remaining rebels in the hinterlands that their capital city has already fallen, their ruler dethroned, and that resistance is futile. This is what it means to therefore go" (Heaven Misplaced, p. 84).

We need to be salt and light to the world. But when the salt has lost its saltiness, it is only fit to be trampled upon.

saltiness!....you either are salt or not!...To be born again means you are saved once and for all you cannot lose your salvation. or SALTINESS That being said those who are without Christ will be trampled on.

Chuck Baldwin said the" trampled on" means tyranny. Yes Christians can live under tyranny.

The Bible implies the salt can lost its saltiness otherwise why would the Bible talk about it. I don't know that it means loss of salvation but rather loss of our ability to influence the world. Its like when the world sees no difference between Christians and the world. Its loss of principles in the church as well as the church not influencing the government. Then the government becomes tyrannical.
