Frank Turk has put together a good thing for you to sign. After Pat Robertson's most recent prophetic embarrassment, Frank organized a petition for Christians to sign if they would like Robertson to cease and desist. Frank has also given a short explanation of what this is supposed to do here. Please cruise on over. Signing the petition is easy, and I have already done it.

And what about the stoning of false prophets-- was that abrogated with the NT?

And I'm only half-kidding..

I remember a couple of years ago seeing Pat Robertson in an interview on Fox News. They asked him what he meant when he said God told him something. He said it was just a general feeling that he got. They asked him if he was ever wrong. He admitted to being wrong lots of times. A few years before that I had a conversation with a friend from another church who was bragging about those in his church who were able to prophecy the future. I asked if they were ever wrong and he said sometimes they were. I wonder if all these Christian prophets have a success rate that is any higher than the average psychic.

I wonder how many Pentacostal Christian are there who are millionaires on Wall Street, or retained as consultants by investing firms?

And would that be considered "insider trading"?
