Here's a quick snap of our front yard -- I remember George Grant was here one time in February, and he made a great deal of fun of our snow-covered barbeque, as though to live in a place where spring has to arrive makes the idea of cooking meat outdoors untenable -- but I digress.

I've been following the weather up there. Y'all are getting hammered! But it is true barbeques work better without snow ... In any case, Merry Christmas!

Until the spring (probably July in Moscow) ;o) I'll bring a Texas brisket ...

Don -- it only comes in July because of global warming ... it used to come in August before they grilled all that meat and released so much carbon dioxide.

And as for the comment on the snow-covered grill ... it seems that is onloy appropriate for Mordor, another moniker inspired by February in Moscow.

There's no better way to confuse your neighbours' noses than to start grilling steaks in January. Propane doesn't come out to play after it gets below -35C, so you are well within the winter bbq zone in Moscow.
